This is a vendor in Tong Hua Night Market that serves a very Taiwanese dish which is ice cream inside a spring roll wrapper. It’s located in the middle of the Tong Hua Night Market. It’s really easy to miss, but it’s the only place serving this dish and make sure to look for the big square block of peanut brittle.
Spring Roll Ice Cream
The paper thin wrapper is the same wrapper that is used in run bing, which is Taiwanese spring roll. Shaved peanut brittle, cilantro and 3 scoops of ice cream are put inside the wrapper and then it’s rolled up. The ice cream flavors are pineapple, red bean and taro. While it sounds odd, it’s really good. This is one of the best versions I’ve had. 8.75/10
