I currently live in New York, but I’m from Newport Beach, California. I started posting as “lau” on chowhound.com and “R.L.” on yelp.com. I originally started posting about primarily Chinese food as I felt like there was a lot of mystery around Chinese food to people who don’t know much about it and I thought that posting about Chinese food would be a lot more useful to people than being the 500th person to post about Shake Shack or other mainstream popular restaurants.
I decided to start this blog as I thought it would a better way to get good pictures and posts up for people to see. I hope you enjoy it!
